The People's Bank of China is to issue a panda silver commemorative coin inscribed with words for the 60th anniversary of the National Committee of Chinese Financial Workers' Union on September 9, 2011, which is the legal tender of the People's Republic of China. Obverse design The obverse of the coin depicts the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (The Temple of Heaven), the words of "60th Anniversary of the National Committee of Chinese Financial Workers' Union" in Chinese, the title of the People's Republic of China and the year date. ii. Reverse design The reverse of the silver coin features a mother panda and her baby, characters of "1oz Ag .999", the words of "60th Anniversary of the National Committee of Chinese Financial Workers' Union" in English and the face value. II. Specifications and mintage of the coins The silver coin is bullion in quality, 40 mm in diameter, 10 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and contains 1 troy ounce of pure silver. The total mintage is 30000 pieces. III. This silver commemorative coin is minted by Shenzhen Guobao Mint and solely distributed by China Gold Coin Incorporation.
