I can see people there at daylight waiting for the first dragons, I dont know for sure but I think ghat you could eat a nice breakfast on hay street than wonder over to the mint and they would still have enough 1oz coins to give you. You would think that they would have enough kept in stock at the mint for everyone for a few days. But I can't help but think that people will be lined up at the gates like teenage girls at a Justin beaber concert.
To be honest I think that a lot of the Perth people that would buy silver bullion from the perth mint are probably members on this site and will be in early. I know there is a massive demand but I just can't see it being crazy in the store itself (aside from us being there). I think the internet and phone will be mental but just can't see groupie lines out the front. Time will tell.
There were 5 or 6 people lined up overnight on New Years eve at the Royal Australian mint to be first to stamp their own Rams head $1 coin this year. The first got there at midday on the 31st to get first strike. I can believe there would be people lining up to get their dragons first.
As they say.. a rolling stone gets the worm and the early bird gathers no moss. I know, i know.. it's the other way around
I won't be sleeping o/night at the gates, but seeing as I missed out on the meetup I'll be there at opening time with a coffee and a few magazines to read while in the queue!
I think there might be a boost in forum numbers from WA on the afternoon of the 1st when a bunch of us saunter past any queues to be ticked off the list at the door - "What the hell is a Silver Stacker?!?".
I know how to get the sale process moving quickly, I've got my big bowl of cabbage and brussel sprouts to eat about an hour or two before we go into that tiny boardroom. All washed down with a carton of chocolate 'Big M'. ...did I mention I was lactose intolerant?
