Not dying is questionable given dairy's heath risks.

By your definition humans also evolved to benefit from beer and tv. Given the prevalence of the beer and tv industries.

Obviously I'm not pushing the diary barrow.

But it can't possibly be "questionable" purely because of the genetic prevalence. I'd hazard that many of the health risks listed are to people without the genetic history who shouldn't be consuming it anyway. But as I prefaced earlier, over consumption of anything is harmful to health and dairy would be no different.

Beer (or more precisely alcohol - particularly of low concentrations) yes, undoubtedly. TV of course not. It's only been around for approximately 2 generations (and we haven't had mass die offs) so it is stupid to suggest that our genetics are in anyway evolved with it.

Precluding the possibility of acute over-consumption in one sitting. There's plenty of foods that can be over-consumed on a regular basis with no ill health effects. e.g. Vegetables, salads, water. Dairy isn't one of them. Even moderate dairy consumption over a long term can and does have negative health effects.

If anything dairy brands (not the farmers) should be sued:

And around in circles we go. Whee. See post #52

PETA can piss off with their socialistic, nonsensical garbage. They are immoral bastards that want to impose their preferences on others with violence. Get rid of compulsory socialised health care and let the actuaries charge whatever makes sense based on the real costs and benefits and leave everyone alone. The best way to "protect" humans is to lock them up in a big cage with a treadmill. I don't want "protection" I want freedom.

Peta? Isn't that the mob "People enjoying tasty animals"?

Surely you don't mean to quote the other mob of extremist crackpots that couldn't lie straight in bed :/

    Can't argue with that.

While you're at it perhaps you can get rid of pensions for politicians, Centrelink, and income tax....

So Willrocks you're advocating the human race goes backwards 10,000 years? Or only in diet?

Also on milk, I've drunk it all my life and I have none of those health ailments. Someone in my family had bowel cancer in their late 60's, and past the age of retirement. Needless to say I'm not worried.

Whenever I think of PETA I think of the South Park episode.

No, the 10,000 years thing was in reference to boardsilver's statement that "many of our bodies evolved naturally with it.".

I'm not a PETA advocate. Personally I think they go too far.

I'd say the last 10,000 years until the prior 50 saw human evolution to meet the conditions and resources available.

I'd say that's going off on a tangent.

There's a lot of scientific evidence, including the study I quoted in post #50 show dairy food is not a healthy part of any diet. And there's very little scientific evidence to prove otherwise.

If you're fine with dairy that's great, but don't go around touting dairy is a health food that should be given to all school kids. In fact it should be labeled with potential damaging health effects.
