If I had silver particles can I get it melted into bars?
Is it that easy or is there anyone of this forum that can melt it down and make bars and what would it cost?

there's a few places, SBA in Victoria and LVM in Qld are 2 off the top of my head. You're looking at probably 10kg minimum tho. You could always buy a home smelting kit and make your own. There was that guy in adelaide making his own and selling them on ebay a while back. Kram posted a link to it somewhere.

I think your best bet would be talking to CK. He might just buy them off you and save you the hassle.

Hi, I'm new to trading online and this is something that I am quite paranoid about as well. What if someone starts making "fake" bars? I don't think it's easy to do but some bars are pretty plain and anyone can easily just dilute it down or make hollow silver bars filled with lead or some other metal of equal density. Is there a way to protect ourselves from this? Thanks.

Smaller bars and coins are harder to hollow out and fill with lead, also not really lucrative enough for them to bother. If you buy directly from a mint, you should be fine. The purity of Perth Mint's products are guaranteed by the Western Australia govt. After a while, you'll find some trusted sources. Keep reading! :)
