where to sell Jewellery?

    not sure if this is the right forum to ask this in let alone forum section but where would I go to sell gold/silver jewellery? specifically in Melbourne.

    Also (sorry should have asked this before) where would I go to get the jewellery verified/estimated etc? any jewellery or is there specific people?

    Sponser W.Davis & son in Melbourne buys/sells jewellery ,but he doesn't pay for stones.
    If the ring has a higher value he will send you to a auction house.
    If you have any long silver chains I'm looking :D

    I have an 18k gold cartier watch. I think they go for pretty high brand new but mine is a little scratched and it doesn't work.

    no clue how much repairing watches costs etc.

    I was in there yesterday,one of his friends there is a master watchmaker & repairs those things ,Peter could value it for you & put you onto the bloke :)

    yeah it's just a bit scratched and I would assume (may be wrong) if someone were to pay that much for a watch they would want one in near perfect condition. I'll try post some pictures of it so you guys can give your opinion about it if I may.
