Scientists witness huge collision of two neutron stars, find origins of gold

"SCIENTISTS have for the first time witnessed the collision of two neutron stars, known to have generated at least half the gold in the Universe."

"IT WAS a faint signal, but it told of one of the most violent acts in the universe and it would soon reveal secrets of the cosmos, including how gold was created.

Astronomers around the world reacted to the signal quickly, focusing telescopes located on every continent and even in orbit to a distant spot in the sky.

What they witnessed was the crash of two ultra-dense neutron stars, cataclysmic events now known to have generated at least half the gold in the Universe, excited research teams have revealed."

The "science" is in ... so it "must" be true ... it still doesn't explain why sunspots are dark and thus cooler than the surface of the sun ... but some boffins believe the sun is electromagnetic (not nuclear) and is some sort of converter of energy ... in any case gold isn't from around "here" ...

William Shatner does a good job describing the currect state of science. But Tesla's quote is best.

Sir Fred Hoyle was one of the most prominent astrophysicists that set the stage for the idea of black holes and ironically withdrew his support for the "big bang theory" that he came up with ... RIP Mr Hoyle ... and thank you for your brilliance ...

It's easy when you realise there are people that are way smarter than you will ever be ... or cling to century old rubbish taught in schools out of old textbooks that churn out an ignorant and stupid public to be just barely able to do their jobs and not think enough to question what they have been told ... they would rather defend what they "know" ... rather than admit they are wrong ...

You are a bit controversial there. _JLG.

We, as older Paying Members of this website will fight to the death to keep you from expressing your opinions here, because we were here first, & we have this little club, & YOU ARE NOT IN IT.

Anyone else get this response when you come here and want to get involved in a discussion on any subject?

If you want to buy GOLD, you may want to buy it with both hands.

@House, Am I out of line with this comment PLEASE?

Then how do you explain him correlating his finding with other astrophysicists ... I suppose you think Nikola Tesla is a kook too ...

The Thunderbolt project explains the electrical theory of the universe https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/

If you are ever lucky enough to get a copy of the video "How the Sun really works" you would be in for a treat ...

Get well soon ... for the rational unbiased audience check out the Electric Universe Theory that explains what the Fusion model does not ... remember there was a time when people thought the Earth was at the centre of the Universe and there was no way of telling them any different ... and today is no different ...

People can't be told, they have to see it for theirself. Most people don't have the ability to think and see things how they really are, so they just accept the current teaching. The current models fail to explain too many things, yet for some reason most people cling to those ideas. I guess if the physics and more so astronomy field told the truth that their models are broken then they would struggle even more to get funding.

Science is always playing catch up to the researchers, if it does't fit the current model, you may be ostracized and lose your funding, credibility, your position, everything.
It is a big motivation to be super cautious about what you publish.
