Or will it just become QE3?

Is there a date by which they will make an announcement?

"Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet?"... even if they stopped calling it Quantitative easing, they could just keep it going under another name. Joe public is that gullible and ignorant and the politicians have all been 'bought'. Debt monetisation is purely to keep the party going just a little longer for those in power...it's been 4 years now since the market switched off the music and told everyone it's time to go home, but Bennanke just keeps filling up that punchbowl.

    Agreed.
But I saw a chart comparing the funds injected by QE, versus the S&P 500. The correlation was uncanny. It even had blips when announcements to end QE were made.
Are we expecting an announcement soon?
