Hi All When the time comes to sell your stack and given you may want to sell quickly, have you given thought to where you are going to sell? What avenues are people considering? Local second-hand bullion dealer (if so, would the sale be in cash or direct deposit into your bank account), post here on SS to other members, other means? Does size of your stack come into consideration? For example, would your avenue of sale change if you were selling 10oz of Gold as opposed to 10oz of Silver? Just curious as to whether people have worked this part out. Cheers Zargor
1. eBay (this is usually for small lots, single coins, damaged or scrap) 2. Coin friends would get first pic of good stuff. 3. Stackers for 1oz coins or bigger, or sets
I'm waiting until I can just go offer somebody a few ounces for a car or a 1kg bar for house on a few acres. If that never happens my kids will inherit it. It's all been bought with spare cash so I'm not fussed if I never realise the full potential of my purchase unless I REALLY need it at some stage in the future to save my butt.

from what I learned in in my roadie days ,the best combination of drugs is 1 xtc tab 2 pot laced with heroin never tried it ,just learned from a raving junky
10 years ago it was to stack high with anything and at the right time sell to those who were trying to jump on board at the last minute with more money than sense. Flebay loves a sucker. Now my stack is to be used to supplement my pension so I have have hidden wealth big brother does not know about and I can sell coins and bars as I need a little extra. One reason I am not buying big stuff this time around so as to avoid to much attention. Fleabay usually allows a 35 to 40% markup on spot within reason.

Largely depends on quantity and how fast you need the cash. If your looking to unload a serious amount of metal in one shot I would recommend a large bullion dealer. You will always get good prices here or at least something over spot. Payment will also be based on size of transaction, smaller transactions can be paid in cash if you are able to get to your local dealer, larger transactions records are kept. Most stackers would be happy to pick apart your stack before putting it on a counter somewhere.
