There are 13 different individual lunar coins (not sets) that have an actual mintage of less than 100 each. I guess those would be pretty high on everyones list.
2007 1oz gold piggy and 2oz silver proof piggy. Will never sell these even if spot went up to $5000 or down to $1. Keep sake for my kids.
I can only count 10 individual coins < 100, obviously excluding any with sales as 'Nil' or 'TBD'. What am I missing?
There are also the 10oz Horse, Goat, Monkey proofs. But the 1kg proofs are also part of the 5 coin sets which brings their mintage to more than 100. So there are actually only 10 different ones with less than 100 actual mintage.
Is it just me...? Have a close look at this kilo ox and tell me what you see: www.ebay.de/itm/110749941563
I have a vague memory that this might actually be correct, due to how and when the Perth mint released these coins. I am sure other people here will know anyway.
Wait ... what? I was staring at this bloody coin like a 3d picture for like 10mins, I didn't see anything. Someone needs to join the dots for me.
Have a look at the reflection on the bull - looks like nakedness. Probably just a distored photographer - it's like one of thes inkblot tests. The mind sees what it wants to see. Back on topic - once Maggie gets the 1/20 gold pig from Apmex for me I will have a complete set of 1/20 gold lunar series 1 (all boxed up in the wooden display case and everything) - thanks again Maggie.
My full set of series I & II silver 1/2oz - or it would be a full set :-( if I find those damn last three proofs from series I (tiger, ox & rat). Explanatory note: I am a 50c collector ;-)
My prized would be back to back numbers - 1oz Proof Year 2000 Dragons, 1881, 1882 - 1/2oz Proof Year 2000 Dragons, 28xx, 28xx (back to back again, but it was a good starting number) - 10oz year 2000 dragon as well I'd say.
