I was given this the other day and I have no idea what it is or where to start. If anyone has any idea I would be very appreciative
It might not be an actual Roman coin, but the bust looks vaguely like one of Trajan Source: http://www.icollector.com/Hadrian-A...7-43-g-minted-at-Rome-AD-117-118-EF_i11764385
Just a suggestion, maybe put.... * Weight * Size * Type out legend/lettering * Material if you know what it is
Thanks for the input. The only other information I have is that it is coin-allignment, weighs 22.73gm and that the legend flows the entire circumference of both sides of the coin. Im guessing it's a fake actually but will try to have it xrfd if I get the chance. Im guessing maybe bronze..
Hiya. I have a Trajan Sestertius that looks very similar and very similar weight (24.6g) , although the reverse is different. He ruled for a loooong time, so loads of issues with him on.. If you do get it XRF'ed I would be interested in the results. J
