USD16.5 billion can buy the entire's world's supply. Compare that to Apple's and Amazon's nearly 1 trillion dollar market caps each, and Warren Buffet's USD100+ billion cash hoard. Isn't it a no brainer?
why would someone buy USD16.5 billion , they might as well put it in the stock market and gain the profit faster. who is going to buy your USD16.5 billion of silver.....
Putting $16.5 billion into physical silver against many hundred billions of unlimited paper silver?!? No wonder there are so few Billionaires. Who is the no brainer?
Don't really know how silver paper market works, but I do know how the internet stocks work. Amazon earned a net profit of 3 billion last year, but the stock now has a market cap of more than $800 billion. This is a perceived value because if everyone starts to exchange their Amazon share with cash, the stock price will collapse more than 90%. The stock market value of a stock like Amazon is not real. Perhaps when everyone start to demand to exchange their silver paper for real silver, the price of spot silver will collapse?
Since when is there a Real value for any internet stock? Nothing has any value; all value are perceived. When enough people demand physical PM delivery, they will either change the rules (remember Nixon) or shut down the damn Comex. Don't invest in Silver. Hold for security, all govts will never allow it to appreciate meaningfully.
"When enough people demand physical PM delivery, they will either change the rules (remember Nixon) or shut down the damn Comex. Don't invest in Silver. Hold for security, all govts will never allow it to appreciate meaningfully." NO WHAY, lol. The way to fix that problem is lack of supply, that will fix their little red wagon. Keep Stacking.
Nelson & Herbert, but they are probably pushing up daisies. W. Herbert Hunt, left, and Nelson Bunker Hunt.
For me the future of silver looks like the new 1oz RMC silver buffalo bars!! Boy do those things look nice and cant wait to get mine!
Currencies are legal tender issued by governments. Cryptos are not a currency, they are a commodity and maybe taxed like goods.
I totally agree with that. Solar, electric vehicles, devices and battery storage will push the demand for silver through the roof.
