What condition should I expect my Perth Mint silver bar to be?

If I fly to Perth and buy some 10oz's over the counter, asking for newborn ones, will that work? I'd like a fresh one so I could take care of it, or at least ding it up in my own way.

Some of those dings and scratches are made by us - they don't caress them out of the moulds onto cloth covered tables then pack them carefully into boxes wrapped individually in bubble wrap :) They're banged out and stacked on top of each other. That's what a bar is, the rough and ready form of PM.

I now like rough bars. All wild west like and that.

Worst bar ive come across so far... Tho its not stained via oxidation... it was handed to me like this, with grease or some sort of oil on it like it literally came directed
    from the refinary moments ago.
Also not pictured, the edges on the back from it being cut through the mould or giloteen or however they do it, are razor sharp and could slice through our flesh pretty easy :-\

Hmmm ... Straight from the refinery? Don't think so.

I didn't think they made them like this any more ....
