Here is another recent find . Think I need to find a new hobby and join the team https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=12232711
Don't be too hasty in taking this hobby up and joining the team Silverman, especially if living in NZ. I have been prospecting for nearly 40 years and am yet to find a kilo+ nugget. This is despite living near the richest nugget producing area in the world and using the best metal detectors money can buy. Victoria's Golden Triangle has been so thoroughly searched that it is a struggle to find even enough to pay for the fuel costs let alone make a profit on your outings these days. This is despite the fact that I use the latest and best $10k Minelab detector. Over in Western Australia, it is still a bit easier to find gold due to the fact that it is arid and remote desert country, so it has not been as thoroughly searched as in Victoria.
