Dont know who you think you are holdfast but if you think that trying to intimidate and threaten people via private messages is how to go about things it shows what a weak, crappy little individual you really are.

Damn are you stupid. Where have any of us said that? Please, I dare you, point to one example.

You really need to pull your head in as you are only making yourself look like an immense tool.

Hmmmm.......interesting. Supporter of extra-judicial killing now are we newtosilver?

    http://forums.silverstackers.com/message-620134.html#p620134

I guess you're happy as long as the government does the killing. :/

Doesn't that sit uncomfortably with you as previously you have argued against private police forces as they are accused of extra-judicial killings yet you seem to support such an action here? Isn't that a touch hypocritical?

Rephrased to take Administrator's warning to play the ball not the man into consideration.

At the risk of being shouted down or insulted (which sadly seems to be happening in this forum all to often these days) ...

These types of rules seem very draconian, and seem like they could be readily misused (retargeted) at any type of groups they deem unfit.

Mind you I am no fan of the bikie clubs and the way they conduct themselves.

But there is a big difference between an outlaw motorcycle gang and a social club that only rides on sundays - and its a shame to think that the latter group could be hassled by the police as a result of these new laws.

    Target the crime ...

And lets not forget that the coppers get fed up too .. they book criminal scumbags just to see them getting let off easy by the courts.

You can have a much better time at a bikie club house than you can have at a police club house.

I disagree about the thought that anyone does get off easy.

I can't remember the exact statistics; but generally once people review the full evidence of cases presented to the courts they come to agree with the comments and sentence dispensed by the judge.

I'm sure someone else more in depth on the topic could provide the full findings of that study (the heat has made me too lazy to do that myself atm :p ); but it certainly is a 180 on the (anger and outrage sell papers) angle presented by the media that makes it look like people get off easy in sentencing for a criminal offense.

It shouldn't be possible for someone to have 100 prior convictions, but I guarantee you these people are out there...

At what point does the court start taking into account 'chance of rehabilitation/chance of re-offending'? It seems they don't :(

81 sure is interesting intersection of charges.
1 count of Reverse A Vehicle Further Than Is Reasonable To Do So.
1 count of Fail to comply with the duties of a driver involved in a crash - (civilian parties)

    ^^^That has ruined my day.
    What have we become?

At least he kept cool and handled himself well.

You would think they would wait until he went on the public road before harassing him, I wonder how the service station owner feels about having his driveway overrun with pigs.

He did react well, that is what it is all about "play the game" know the rules and play the game. When asked questions though only answer in regards to your name, address and comply with providing ID. If your asked to move off a rode etc or away from something fair enough.

If you are asked to describe something, "I have nothing to say in relation to that matter at this time, may I leave now?"

The reason they asked him about the jacket is because whatever he says can be used in court. There are proofs for charges and they need to provide proof. If you say something you are doing yourself no favours. Say nothing and ask if you can leave.

You think people should be allowed to smoke on public transport?
