That NSW System is heading north into QLD where it will converge with an inland system from the Northern Territory along the coast between Bowen and the Gold Coast...It started last night and it'll be the mother of all systems. All the fruitloops, nutjobs, whackos and drongos are all lining up with their; Datsun utes & Corollas to cross flooded creeks air beds and pieces of styrofoam to ride down flooded streams other stupid ideas to get outdoors during severe weather... Seems that our OH&S laws and SES has been invented to save these low I.Q. numpties for another turn on the magical round-a-bout rather than letting mother nature do her thing and remove them from the gene pool.
I crossed a flooded creek in a Mazda 121 Funtop with the oil cap missing in the top of the engine and water flowing over the bonnet. Now that's what a real man does when he comes to a flooded creek. Charges in without thinking. Edit to add: Actually, it just occurred to me a real man wouldn't own a Mazda 121 Funtop.
Don't forget the Series 1 Disco I know I copped shit from my wife when I bought it. She wrote my old 323 off, I bought that when I sold my FJ45 ute (bucket of rust), so there is some macho history waaaaaay back in my early days.
Bundaberg Weather ..Take 2.. There will be a lot of anxious people here in Bundaberg tonight... Rain is pouring down over the last hour..Estimated rainfall nearly50ml. Forecast looks bad.! heavy rain next 24hrs between 200 and 400ml. It couldn't happen again, could it? Regards Errol 43
I hope not Errol, the last two times has been far more than enough. I'm halfway through replacing the guttering on my house, it's depressing watching waterfalls come down through the fascia boards. By the look of it I won't have to worry about the fascia boards tommorow as they appear to be cracking and falling apart due to the weight of the water - always look on the bright side I suppose!
It has stopped raining here in Bundaberg and the radar shows not much rain close by. Maybe we will be lucky! Although rain is supposed to increase on Monday as the trough deepens. Here's hoping. Regards Errol 43
seems like heavy rain is going to it us today on the goldie...like we need it...please turn off HAARP
