Found this on the European Central Bank's website, and did a double-take:

    http://www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/intro/html/index.en.html

A bit split-personality to have this as an official position and then take the 500 note out of circulation.

Once again. No plan to take the 500 note out of circulation, and never was.
500 banknote remains legal tender and will always retain its value

If the RBA doesn't know where the cash went ... some of it went here ... http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/p...pting-cash-for-contracts-20140804-10075g.html
and LOTS of it seems to have gone there ... http://www.news.com.au/finance/fede...y/news-story/3eeb478e3070756ad626602222bdf8c9
and probably a lot went through its bank rate rigging staff ... for "entertainment" purposes ... or as a trader described it as "a culture of sex, drugs and alcohol" ... http://www.news.com.au/finance/busi...t/news-story/1ba58a5de6b3a6a28a8be6e5092cd124 and probably was handy in this sort of bank activity ... http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-25/bank-rate-rigging-spreads-anz-macquarie/8057398

in context is that much worse than buying PM and not declaring the profits as income tax?

for instance it doesn't say how much the Vic transport people made?
Were they charging double or ten times, we do see headline figure if $25million but what is it, so if cost $24.5m to build, they skimmed 500k over ten years.

It might be worse if you even have to ask that ...

Probably, but compared to PM dealers and refiner whom collectively robbed us of upwards of $1billion dollars in the last few years, seems like peanuts

Negative interest rates at -4 to -5 % for Australia and heading towards a towards a cashless society , plus the Bank Bail-In Laws passed last year.

This is happening in all countries world wide thanks to the IMF.

These laws are being introduced for a reason and will be implemented some time in the future.

Will Perth Mint or any physical form Au and/or Ag be exempt. It is unknown at this point but this is a possible concern for Au/Ag stackers.

It's heating up. Governments are all to happy to jump at the request of their puppet masters.
