Oooh... more 2000GZs? I'll try... But I think I tapped out most of my contacts last time.

Hopefully I'll be able to go Panda Hunting again in the next week or so.

    Hi Lim,

Firstly, congratulations on your NGC results.
Secondly, can I get your advice on how to send coins for NCS/NGC from Singapore and how much does it generally cost per coin or per batch? I have about a dozen coins that I'd like to conserve/grade but doesn't seem feasible to pay for NGC membership and ship it to US. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

+1 for 2000GZ, i've gotten a few bears from yennus and they're impeccable.

both my 2000 GZ from Yennus went ms69!!! foremost it speaks to Yennus,s coin selecting skills!!, but I might add IMHO part of this kind of high grade consistency has to do with the fact he is holding the coins in his hand in Shanghai and has the opportunity to select from a group.......this is why I cant emphasize enough the difference, you might pay more than on ebay or from some other internet source, but you are not buying someones cracked out ,picked over reject coin.............. quality is remembered long after price is forgotten:)

    Thanks PanDex,

I using Singapore Mavin International which is the dealer for NGC since i am a very small collector who does not send in huge quantity for grading .
    For this GZ panda .
It cost me around 55USD + GST + 10Singapore dollars (mavin handling charges) + 1.5% insurance cum shipping to grade and conserve ( a huge sum but well it is for my toddler )

its funny we all say these pandas are for our toddlers but we are holding onto them for quite some time in our personal collections...then quite a ways down the road our decendents will take ownership.

It helps me justify my expensive coin purchases...oh well i can enjoy them now but hopefully they can benefit later.

Silverbulldog...i love this thread...never seen one of these 2000's you speak of..care to post a picture?
