    Poor people beating each other senseless has always been popular. Gloves make it more dangerous and were introduced for dramatic effect and to create more crowd pleasing knockouts.

    Sugar Ray Robinson backed out of a fight because he had a dream that he was going to kill his opponent in the ring. After a priest and minister convinced Robinson to fight, Robinson went into the ring and killed his opponent.

    - People with tattoos are more likely to commit crimes than people without; particularly theft, robbery and drug-related crimes.

    With a standardised work start time, a location that experiences sunset one hour earlier will experience, on average 5% more wages earned, than a location that has sunset one hour later.

    (an argument against daylight saving - less sleep = less earnings)

    If an airline pilot did not use the rudder as well as the flaps to initiate a turn, all the passengers would be flung to the outside of the turn (think "corners" when you were a child).

    Doesn't "orange" ;)

    Apparently there is a word "chilver" that means female lamb. I worked on a sheep station during Uni holidays for a few years and never heard the word though.
