Perhaps we should stop thinking of the US as a capitalist country with a socialist president (approaching classical fascism). They have a new model of econony, where the free market has become totally reliant on the government. Yet it is not entirely directed into what it produces like in classic fascism. But it is unable to prosper without government manipulation like endless debt that would usually collapse a free market.

I call this the Captive Market.

The free market may be dead. I hope it returns to life some day.

I call it pathetic , It's like a giant game of soggy biscuit. Mutual currency masturbation with a daisy chain conga line and Bernanke in the lead followed up by a bunch of bankers performing a reach around.

Ooooh, I get it. Just like the temporary suspension of the Gold Standard in 1971 :/
