I'm new feeling my way around SS and getting to meet some great members. Heading to a local SS members meeting next weekend and thought listing some pics for the auction. Wanting to build a rapport with local members first and go to buy sell and trade on SS generally. Anyway after getting some ideas on what to list for our local auction and meet I tried to upload images from SS menu option. Got this message. "You do not have permission to use the upload feature. Please direct any inquiries to the forum administrator". Am I in strife already? Sounds like a visit to the Principal's office! So I thought I would sheepishly ask the question in case I have missed something in all the stuff I have read on joining? I know, do what it says and contact the Administrator...wilco But in the meantime, any advice?

Hi XB Served my 7 day new member parole. Still can't upload pics from SS site. I have House's advice as back up. Rather use the SS upload though. Does it just kick in automatically on this site after 7 days, maybe tonight when the clock strikes 12 or do I need to advise Admin? noah
You're keen! It should be automatic but if nothing has changed by tomorrow afternoon, PM an admin to let them know. If you do use Imgur, you'll need the link with the 'BBCode' and as it works best for the forum.

I also thought it kicked in automatically. Give it another try later today then let admin know if still an issue.
