When coins are sent from the mints, they are often put into tubes which in turn are put into monster boxes.

Do coin tubes from the mints contain a foam piece or padding inside the tube, or is it just the coins, tube and tube lid?

I am interested to know the answer for different coins, all kinds of metals, all countries. If you know a single one, I would be happy to know the answer.

    Thank you!

Generally government mints do not put anything in. ASEs, Maples and Kangaroos do not. Private mints are hit & miss and can
    vary shipment to shipment.
