Video of Sally Yates' 2015 confirmation hearing as deputy attorney general shows Sen. Jeff Sessions grilling her about her responsibility to then-President Barack Obama should he require her to execute "unlawful" views.

Sessions is now Donald Trump's pick to lead the Justice Department.

Doesn't look or sound like a grilling at all, sound more like a Dorothy Dixer

I am no Trump Fan, but I dont think what Trump did was wrong in this instance. Though ironic that it was Jeff Sessions

It was wrong. The AG had a point. Defending the executive order would be unconstitutional. However, its been rumored Donald can't read so maybe he's never seen the constitution?

Who says it's unconstitutional, if it was clear cut more people who are in position to know would have said so.

The last person in a position to know (the acting AG) and to say so got fired! So you're right in some ways.

    Common sense says its unconstitutional.

It was originally mean to be a "Muslim Ban". Those are Trump's words. Not my interpretation. We (the us citizens) were told so.
When [Trump] first announced it, he said 'Muslim ban.' He called me up, he said, 'Put a commission together, show me the right way to do it legally.

It's kind of like the laws some of the US had that prevented Africans from voting. They weren't specifically saying "Africans can't vote" but the stipulations of the law covered a majority of that population.
The Nazi's did the same thing with their legislation. Later on things specifically worded to be anti-Jewish but it started off as laws pertaining to "Non-Aryan"

Trump also said that he's giving people of the Christian religion preferential treatment. He said that. That I don't believe that needs explanation or historical examples. It's clearly unconstitutional.

The AG was within her legal right to not support the ban. She got fired for it. It happens. Doing the "right thing" doesn't protect you from retaliation.

Actually it is more likely ban on Marxists. Islam is not a race, not ever. It will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever be a race.

Let us spell that out for leftists, Islam is not ever a race. It never was and never will be.

Yet, ABC and SBS regularly tell us it is racist to oppose Islam.

This is an excellent example of propaganda, delivered via a robotic dead pan, well paid human face, telling us it is indeed racist.

Who here has read the Koran (let alone the Bible :p ) ?

If the TV tells us Islam is a race and it is racist to oppose this ideology what are the owners really telling us?

Christians have been systematically raped, persecuted and hounded out of town in Islamic areas of the world, while we are told to accept this ideology as equivalent, when common sense says it is nothing of the sort.

Worse, when the magnate owned media is seen for what it is, why is the concentrated view so censorious of this issue? Why does the Left condone Islamic misogyny (Gillard being a prime example before the House of Saud vs her hit piece on the front of Time re: Tony Abbott, I will never forget her duplicitous cowardly behaviour, confirming everything the Left really is)

Why does the Left condone Islamic persecution and killing of homosexuals? Why do they say nothing?

As for the Nazis, they were explicitly anti-Jewish from the outset. They never pretended otherwise. Read their 25 point plan written in the mid 20s. They did exactly what they said they would, including invading Poland to get to Danzig, right from the start.

Islam and Marxism is no different. But adherents get a free pass by our MSM. This is not due to lack of knowledge by those that control this vehicle of influence in my view, far from it.

The only one who brought up race here is you. Nobody said "Islam" either.
What Trump said was "Muslim Ban".
It seems like you're trying to start a different conversation because your response has nothing to do with what I just said.

As for the Nazis, they were explicitly anti-Jewish from the outset. They never pretended otherwise. Read their 25 point plan written in the mid 20s. They did exactly what they said they would, including invading Poland to get to Danzig, right from the start.

We ALL KNOW from the start the Nazi's were anti-Jewish and I shouldn't have to repeated this but they STARTED traction with their plan by making laws for "non-Aryan" people, not Jews. It wasn't until later on specific legislation naming Jews was used. Also, I don't see what them invading Poland has to do with the similarity in Trumps wording for his executive order and how the Nazi's worded their legislation in the beginning. What counterargument are you trying to make with that statement?

Never claimed AGs were not infallible or perfect. Just giving an example of someone in a position to know and said so. Vice-presidents are not infallible nor perfect either and he's said the same thing.
