trouble accessing the site

    The last couple of weeks sometimes SS wont load i get the message when i troubleshoot "silverstackers is online bit isnt responding to connection attempts" or something similar . Sometimes for hours

    Ah that old chestnut. Have had it for other websites but never SS.

    What OS and anti-virus are you using? Tried all the usual fixes such clearing cache/history, flushing DNS, resetting router/entire system, updated drivers (especially for ethernet),opening SS in a different browser?

    Other solutions- Use Google DNS by changing IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers

    Disable IPv6 on your network adapter and reload the page.

    I was facing the same problem. I was able to solve it with following steps:

    Control Panel- System and Security- "Allow Programs and Features" under "Windows Firewall"- "Change Settings" and then turn ON the check box at the bottom of the list (Worldwide web something).

    I think you might have uploaded House's cache...I'd suggest a re-format...then burn it :lol:

    No seriously.. I have this issue occasionally, reset wifi connection and all good.
