I recently traded with Aleks and would like to provide some trading feedback but I cannot - for the life of me - figure out how to do it!??
It's something I had done easily in the past ... so i suspect that for some reason I dont have the functionality to be able to leave feedback!??
Does one have to be a paid member nowdays to be able to leave feedback??

Click on plus sign (hopefully) or negative sign where it says "Trade" under their name in posts

lurk@l0t, did the trade with 3161fergo eventually go through, and if so, why was negative feedback left on both sides over first attempted F2F mishap?

The reason I ask is because if the trade did not go through should feedback be left for a NO trade? And if it did go through later is it worth both parties leaving negative feedback over a mishap? Just wondering.

I think i did explain it at the time...
Basically he lied to me stating tbat he didnt have a mobile number.
So there was some unavoidable issue which arose on the day we were suppised to meetup... So i.needed to move the appointment...
So of course i could not reach him via mobile so the best i could do was leave a message here via PM for him. I also phoned the pub where we were supposed to meetup and left a message with the owner (who was supposedly his best bud - turns out he hardly knew him so he couldnt reach him either).
Since he didnt check his mesages here on SS nor did he leave me with any way of reaching him he didnt know i could not make the appointment.
Incredibly he blamed me for it!

I agree with u wholeheartedly that NO FEEDBACK shoukd have been left by either of us since the trade did not happen.
However when i saw the crap he'd written about me in tbe negatuve feedback i felt obliged to return tbe favour...

btw, who doesn't have a mobile number these days? And what about a land line??

Without trying to take sides, I think both parties in a scheduled F2F trade should leave each others phone number in case one party can't make it or is running late. Imo, if one person doesn't want to give their phone number out and the other person cannot make it, it is unfair for this person to blame the other for the NO F2F and unfair and not right for them to then go leave negative feedback.
