Yeah that spanner monkey.....Hey hey we'er the monkeys..and people say we monkey around..but we'er to busy singing...........................
Is there some reason that the price is removed after a sale? It removes the ability to do a quick price comparison over time etc.
Some people prefer to keep their price quiet once the deal is done. What they buy and sell and price paid they liike to keep as discrete as possible. Same with trade feedback. If they are not buying or selling some have it switched off. Each to their own I guess. As far as price comparisons i can see how it would be handy to know what everything sells for. Buy sell threads are deleted after 30 days anyway I think.
there is a reason for it. when price moves up, the late comers still demand to be sold at that price. and it may not be a good reference point, since it may not be the actual transacted price. something there negotiation buyer/seller happened. :/
It also maybe that the seller is so de-moralised by the price they get that they don't want it hanging around to remind them
I reckon when someone asks for offers via PM it is good manners to respond to offers, lowball or ripoffs being exceptions. If $1610 delivered for a 1oz PAMP is too much at the moment, or you've already sorted something at least say so.
I like how people say no reserve but minimum bid must be $100 or auction starts at $500.....isn't that kind of a reserve?
That' why I started doing my auctions like I have been Have a reserve but hidden until the reserve has been reached Lot's of new people doing what they think is right ( in their mind anyway ) And way to many " half assed want to be " dealers I've noticed a lot of the locals are selling back to local dealers instead of selling on here
Exactly, that's the right way to do it. If you have a reserve, fine, nothing wrong. But don't be misleading by saying no reserve and STARTING with a reserve lol
