    Much like the circumstances changed for a Carbon Tax, making Australia competitive on the international stage and ensuring a seat at the EU and US tables?

    ( which are the 'political' reasons - it has nought to do with fixing the planet, that's just how they tried to disguise it. )

    I'm a left leaning political atheist which means I'm for social supports but I think the current political options are pointless.

    I also just stir the pot to see what rises - because I could be wrong and the
    'truth' might bob to the surface after enough stirring.

    And when you consider that it still costs something like $3800 per car more to produce in Australia we are still behind the rest.
