    Been watching these on E-bay , won one of the auctions in a way and narrowly missed on the others .

    24 hr listing and really poorly listed, cant figure out if it's a con or just REALLY bad luck for the seller.

    Been watching these too, plus all of the Aussie $200 coins he had on there.

    I felt a con for the following reasons:
    * Refuses to accept paypal
    * Changed his ebay name 1 day ago, IN THE MIDDLE OF AUCTIONS
    * Put the Treasures of Aust sapphire coin auction up, 30 mins after someone else put up the exact same coin, WITH THE EXACT SAME PICTURE. I think he just copied it.

    Will be watching some of the ebay feedback over the next few days.

    Yep ebay member jan 2010 I''d be very wary buying. But guess everyone has to start somewhere...

    We asked to have COD as offered, He replied with an ANZ account, WE replied yeah sure please supply scanned photo Id front and back,,,,, still waiting for a reply :)

    I actually emailed him about his not accepting paypal, and he came back with:

    "no pay pal sorry, had $2000 dissapear from my account two weeks ago with out a trace and they cannot find where it went, so until i get it back i aint accepting pay pal"

    Looks like he's starting to get a bit narky now and is relisting item's , " PLEASE READ MY PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AS I AM REALLY SICK OF PEOPLE TELLING ME HOW IT IS."

    I just wonder ? a 1 oz sapphire coin for $860 , wouldnt you be pissed.

    has anyone asked if pickup is available? if he accepts pickup, less dodgy(?)


    edit:
    Probably best if only 1 person asks.... As if 987 people message him saying they are going to be in Narcoorte and want to pick up, he may think some funny business is up. I havent asked as I have no interest in the coins.

    Im not convinced its a con, he may be a legitimately stupid. Although with that much stock..... you gotta wonder.

    Also, con or stupid.... Either way you will probably get burnt.

    Yeah and no seller feedback after may 30th last year... AHHH well dont look like we will be getting an oz gold coin for less than half price after all.... I think we might just risk the bad feedback.
