Right! What were they thinking."Lets stick foam in it and then gorilla glue it shut...that will be fun!"

Well, not to mention, the rubbing of that foam against that precious medal, as 'soft' as it is, can still be a problem. I remember back in the day I thought a cotton ball was soft enough not to be a problem...boy was I wrong. And before anyone jumps on my back about being negative with ulterior motives, shut the hell up (not you nabullion), I have 2 of these on order, and will get them on Tues. :D

Have you received shipping info for yours yet? Mine departed LA on Friday so hopefully it should arrive on our side of the world this week.

I'm assuming that the foam was inserted by the mint? Perhaps contact FCC and find out if they know the best way to open that capsule.

I actually had the hardest time in the world opening the capsule of the 2014 5 oz Britannia proof coin. Just wanted to see if specs were milk spots or dust...they were dust.

The coin looks sweet and the whole presentation looks great.

Close-up pics of the coin when you get capsule open, please.

I didn't have feeling that Britannia's capsule it's so hard. :) But when trying to re-open Air-Tite capsules I needed to use a pocket knife.

Yes, Stark, I had great difficulty getting the 5 oz Britannia capsule open. Seems like the capsules for 1 oz coins are much easier to open (in general) than the larger size capsules.

Okay I was just being stupid. Found something REALLY thin and was able to get it in between. The foam is stuck to the top of a capsule and not to the coin thank goodness. Heres some photos, the best I could do with my phone.

Very Nice coins. I have 3 of the Pena, love it. I also got 2 of the Mesopotamia too. Those only have a mintage of 500!

Also have a few Tiffany, (the later ones is all I can afford), and of course those will be worth more in the long run, I feel. But Pena also was priced very fair in comparison.

The Poland Mint has some bad ass coins!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nabullion D, that's a great looking coin. I'm glad you got the capsule open. Good job of photos with a cell phone.

Great Great coin! The current price trend of ebay does not do justice to this masterpiece.
I think when more coins reached collectors' hands, the price will go up considering the low mintage of 688.

I have 3 of them, and 2 of them had the white piece of packing material in the capsule, the other one didn't. I left the material inside the capsule for now.

As I said before, The Poland Mint has some Bad Ass Coins!

When you're from Texas, we throw proper punctuation, subject verb agreement, and proper adjectives out the window, and it ain't hurt me none yet! I'm still rich, talented, and smart..... LOL

Just Kidding Guys, Silver Pete was messing with me, but as I said, I'm from Texas, so we say all kinds of things that ain't proper, like, "we're fixin to go eat", and other things like that. If you said, we are about to eat dinner, everyone would think you're an idiot and you'd get a kick in the shins with some boots.

    See Y'all later................

    Tex
