    Ironwood old mate..Better carefully consider putting anything relating to firesticks on SS.

    GP might pull the trigger on this thread.

    Remember in Australia the laws regarding firesticks are some what different. :)

    Folks shouldn't be put off by the huge size of the safe's in this video. They come in much smaller (manageable) sizes and weights...and most importantly, prices. Don't go by weight alone, the best safes are made of hardened steel. You can't drill or smash 'em with a sledge hammer. Just walk into a gunshop and ask for help.

    One point of note on safe installation; When mounting your safe, make sure theives can't use the wall or post as a crowbar fulcrum/ leverage point. Make it as flush as you can or get it right away from the wall. But try not to mount it so far away they they can bodily get between the safe and wall and rock the safe off it's bolts with their bodyweight or get a good grip on it with a rope or chain.
