I guess they do, but to me it doesn't matter much. We are stuck in this cycle where Labour is in for a few years/terms. Then the Libs are in for a few. Then back to Labour again. And so on. All the time taxes gradually increase, debt levels (private and public) increase, inflation increases and freedom is in terminal decline. Democracy is a failure, provably so, and I'm just waiting for everyone to recognise it and get over it. Some people seem to think the libs are the answer, but I see no evidence of this, nor any reason why it would be true. If a system doesn't work, it doesn't work. Doesn't matter who is in charge.
Makes sense that natural resources are commodities and it's not a bad thing. I know BiGs disagrees, but putting a price on resources provides market guidance for capital investment which assists in the reduction of waste of both capital and scant natural resources. I'm not sure how every living being can be commodified though. To be reduced to a commodity that is traded is a bit far fetched and possibly a poor use of a term when in fact they mean exploited.
Bali Nine: Tony Abbott denies threatening Indonesia over clemency for Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumara Indonesian foreign ministry spokesman Armanatha Nasir warned yesterday that threats were not part of diplomatic language. "No-one responds well to threats," he said. http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2015-...s-indonesia-tsunami-comments-a-threat/6147832 ............ Thank god they've got a diplomat like abbot on their side.
You should feel very proud of yourself trying to score petty pitiful points using 2 Australian men on death row as they potentially take their last breaths. Well done - good job - I cannot wait for your next post Hang your head in shame. CGS
+ 100 Wow! I was beginning to think i was the only one on this blog who could see further than his own nose!
H I didn't potentially just seal their fate. The president can't be seen to be giving way to threats.
I agree mostly with this except that the Keynesian bullsh1t which the socialist academics and politicians preech/practise as 'Economics' is definitely NOT economics!
lol, no, there are a few of us on here interested in what the evidence says, I just think we all burn out after awhile and need to take a break. There's only so many times you can say the same thing without getting bored. Yep, you are right on target with that one. Economics as it exists today is medieval and belongs in the dark ages. But it suits the existing power structure. And real economics doesn't. Kind of makes me think of Galileo tbh.
A backbench leak saying Abbott wanted to go to war against ISIS but was howled down by Defence Chiefs - which may or may not be true - is indicative that Abbott is unlikely to survive for long.
Check your facts Julie. This report is false. You believe anything that the radical Left feeds you without question.
