I would say you need a smaller arse if you need the first one anyway : Everything is shrinking from chocolates to tin food most people dont notice .
another example of inflation at the grocery store, All Bran 630g is now 530g and the price is the same, thats a 15% increase without moving the price. Makes me sick as theres no announcement as most people wont even notice
This packing scam has bn going on as far back as the change to decimal currency at least. That was when I first began to notice. A LOT of the supermarket items were changed (downwards) at that time and covered by the conversion formula. A lot of the 1lb (425g) things went to 400g and even 375g. I doubt things will change all that much, and the inflation rate has little relationship to individual price changes. Bloody crooks! OC
I noticed that with toilet paper bought from Aldi. The rolls may have the same number of sheets but were noticeably smaller. I tend to look more at price per unit rather than the actual marked price, though you need to look out for scams like the toilet paper size.
I buy 3 ply only because I cannot find 4 ply or 5 ply! i will bet the actual thickness of those 'plys' is geting thinner too! YUK!
Ah the ploys of marketing..Down goes the size, price the same...New bigger variety, more for your money...Up goes the size, special intro offer.. Give me a break..Maybe we can buy paper towels and cut them in to with a saw. Regards Errol43
It's not just bogrolls,..Look what happened today when restocking my plastic bag supply... new package on the left!
This reminds me of a great rant by Bob Moriarty (who accurately presaged the massive fall in silver earlier this year) full rant - http://www.321gold.com/editorials/moriarty/moriarty042511.html the toilet paper shortage ruse: http://www.theplumber.com/toiletpapershortagefun.html
Did they fold them or something? The bag measurements are listed on the larger package. Have they changed on the smaller?
