    Hi Everyone
I am planning on a residential period in Thailand. Are any of you familiar with the Thai market for precious metals and the pros and cons thereof?
    Best Regards

The silver market in terms of stacking .999 bullion is almost non existent.

Tough market for silver. Lived in Bangkok for two years up until last year.
Thais love gold and don't really give a shit about silver.
Don't think of getting stuff sent in from overseas either, the chances of you (a) having some coin "losses" in transit or (b) having to pay some hefty duties are more than possible. Conversely, I never had a problem exporting coins thru Thailand Post to the rest of the world.

Do silver shopping on a trip to HK or Singapore or Australia and carry it back in. Just my two cents worth.
