Oy, can ya'll fill me in on the shipping options where you live? This will help me compare true prices when I write the follow-on and regional price comparison articles. For example, in the US most dealers default to the US Postal Service (USPS) for small orders, specifically the First Class Package Service, which will cost 3-5 dollars. Larger orders might result in USPS Priority Mail shipment, which is a two or three day service usually costing less than $10, and which can also leverage free USPS Priority boxes (see the beauties here, PDF). (In fact, First Class is often a two or three day service.) Both First Class and Priority come with free tracking. Overnight is always an option if people want to pay for it, and sufficiently large orders might get it for free. There are usually three choices here: USPS Priority Mail Express, FedEx, and UPS. (DHL mostly left the US market a few years ago.) There are slower 2-3 day options from FedEx and UPS but they seem to be more expensive than USPS Priority, so we don't see them much. What's the deal in the UK? Given your geographical compactness compared to the US, is the Royal Mail often a 1 or 2 day service? Do bullion dealers use it, or do they prefer a private carrier? How about continental Europe? And Australia? Big country. How does shipping usually work?
You should provide international postage/shipping options and rates so users can work out if an item is cheaper to buy from overseas instead of domestically. And some countries have import duties or taxes that also need to be factored into the all up costs so providing this info or links to current fees for different countries is also important for accurate comparisons.
