The irony is David Marr, Barry Cassidy & Tony Jones won't see the irony in THEM pointing out someone else being a psychopathic with a huge ego.

I was under the impression that M/s Rudd was worth, in her own right, circa $200 million from the sale of her Australian business, and still had her European business interests, that was extensive? I stand to be corrected on this - does anyone know?

I'd prefer someone with real business experience leading the country (Turnbull) compared to a mere property speculator (Crud).

Not my 1st or 2nd choices in the game of course.

Watch out Clawhammer, this is what happened to Hunter S. Thompson when Nixon was exiled to San Clemente beach. He had no-one to hate with the passion he'd spent years honing into an inimitable Nixon hating commentary.
If you have a great hate it's like a great love. Hard to let go.
Give the current crew a go. They'll be loathesome soon enough.

I wouldn't call them the current crew. They're the previous crew from 2008 to 2010 except most of the famous ministers resigned before or after Gillard was knifed. Labor won fewer seats in Gillards election compared to Rudds election so theres not even a significant number of 'new' backbenchers now compared to Rudd Mk 1.

Her gender war was the straw that broke my back. Feminism + State Power is one scary bitch. Never knew such sexism existed in Australia until Gillard and her feminist band of fellow men haters reared their nasty nostrils.

Sexism is rampant in Australia and there is evidence by the ream. On my bad days I have very negative thoughts about Australia's collective racism, sexism, chauvinism, etc etcetera-isms.

Feminism is just advocating social, political, and all other rights for women equal to those of men.

There have been giant advances made to even out the playing field but repressive mechanisms still exist - from lower pay to EEO exemptions. Gillard was right to call out sexism, her mistake was making it a political issue to try and save her political hide.

I totally agree Julie. When she pulled the sexism card on Abbott, she alienated herself from a lot of women whom face REAL chauvanism and devlaued the fight.

Abbott & crew weren't destroying her because she was a woman, they were crucifying her because she was (is) such a flawed person!!!

    I agree.

Men and women should have the same rights, conditions and entitlements.

Personally, as a man, I would like to live as long as a woman.

I also think that it would be important that, for Australia's economic welfare, that women should work to the same age as men before retiring. Consider that approximately 45% of the workforce is female, who could be paying tax for an extra 5 years - it really is a no brainer.

People claimed that Gillard was brought down because of he gender, but that doesn't explain the polls - It seems that women prefer Kevin Rudd to Julia Gillard.

I am currently working for a woman with a degree in womens studies, a degree in micro management (i'm sure) and a rampant feminist.

She is utterly unsuited to her role, just does not have the skills, but her employment meets a quota, a KPI. Our group is quite specialised in the work we do, she has no knowlege of this work , and was 'sold" to us as a Manager who would deal with the non technical issues on our behalf, leaving us to do our job.

She has since proven herself to be a vindictive shrew!

I will go into a meeting and argue technicalities or contract obligations, only to labelled a Mysoginist, sexist whatever, whatever. She is even being investigated for repeated breaches of contract, but any accusations she makes agianst me are permanently recorded on my file, even though not 1 of them has been substantiated?

Every single male and 2 of the 4 females in the group have expressed dissatisfaction to upper management, hence the investigation. but it would seem a woman screaming she has been subject to "sexist males" trumps all?

Some years back I used to work for this woman https://www.wa.liberal.org.au/article/sue-murphy-appointed-chief-executive-officer-water-corporation

She was hands down, one the most effective, intelligent, decisive, impressive boss's i have ever had the pleasure or working for. No one in our group at the time ever mentioned the fact that she was a woman!
