The don't fetch much of a premium over spot. Slightly less than a kangaroo on ABCs website (even lower than their own Eureka coin).

2018 was the first year they offered a Bullion example of the silver Krugerrand. Mass produced but a beautiful coin nonetheless. In fact, it's one of my favourites.

In this environment - $30-$33 would be my guess.

Guys, please consider attaching an image of your coin for a valuation or perhaps, if you want to buy a particular coin, please provide a few extra details as doing so may provide a more realistic price.

For example, say you may wish to buy a Series 2 - 2009 Australian Lunar Year of the Ox 5oz Silver Bullion Coin you may want to add the following:
*My coin was purchased from the Perth Mint.
*I have been the only owner.
*The coin is in excellent condition, it has no milk spots, scratches or discolouration.
*The coin has never been taken out of the acrylic capsule.
*The acrylic capsule is in perfect condition, there are no scratches, cracks or marks on the capsule.
*The coin has been kept in the original packaging as sent from the mint.
*The coin has been stored in a cool dry environment.
    or
*I wouldn't have a clue where my coin was purchased, :rolleyes:but I got it from a bloke on the street who said he got it from a long lost Aunt.;)
*I don't know how many people have owned this coin, I got it off ebay.:D
*The coin is in poor condition, it has a few milk spots, scratches and some cool looking brown / black discolouration.:D
*The coin has been taken out of the acrylic capsule, we passed it around the table at Wendy's dinner party, she got drunk :Dand decided to plonk it in her jug of beer, it's a great coin though.;););)
*The acrylic capsule looks like some one let the dog chew on it, :eek:it's been dropped a few times :eek:but other than that, the capsule is ok, :Dwho cares anyway, o_Oit's there to keep the coin nice, believe me, just because you can't see the coin doesn't mean it's not in there.;):p
*The coin has-not been kept in the original packaging, :eek:I ripped it out of the packaging, had a look at it and then chucked it in the back seat of the car o_Oand drove down the dusty old track to the back-paddock because Dolly the sheep was stuck in the fence. :(It was really hot that day, :(so after rescuing Dolly, :DI went down the pub at Violet Town, :Dcrikey it was a hot day :(and after 5 Scooners, :D:D:D:pI drove home and was so pissed o_OI forgot all about the coin. :mad:About 6 months later I was looking for some shotty shells under the seat and f..kme "that's where I put that coin.:D:eek: I shoved it in the glove box for safe keeping, :cool:its been there ever since!

Ok what would be the better value / choice (in your opinion / experience) both being sold at same price.
Both being in mint condition, proofs, Perth mint.
Luna dog 1 oz gold (limited mintage of 3,000) or Kangaroo 1 oz gold (limited mintage of 500).

The 1/2 oz S1 silver proof coins have low mintages, so often they sell for more than the 1oz S1 silver proof coins.
