I'm not normally one for posting on the internet since many of the discussions seem to devolve into petty Ad hominem attacks and the best of the rest could be charitably described as enthusiastic dilettantism. However, I realize there are exceptions and that smart, reasonable, and well informed citizens have access to the internet along with the cretins so I've signed up for this forum and am introducing myself. My name is Michael and I'm a precious metals broker based out of Toronto, Canada. I got involved in the business several years ago before things really took off (or spiraled downwards in terms of the debasement of fiat currency and public faith in that particular abstraction) after serving most of my adult life in the military. I don't know how much I'll actually be posting but it seemed like time to say hello. "Hello"
Hi and welcome to the forum. And thanks for introducing yourself rather than posting that you want to sell a kg of gold.
Welcome. Thanks for posting. True argumentum ad hominem doesn't seem to happen that much on here except on a couple of topics (and usually the "debaters" are simply evasive and abusive).
Great intro mate Welcome aboard. They say Canadians and Australians have similar attitudes and a sense of humour. I like many Australians spent most of my child life in the military before they banned water pistols and sky rockets and candy cigarettes. "GOD!" i miss the old candy Cigg's REDBACK
Haha, my brother's a mensa member but I've never been terribly interested in qualifying my pretensions so explicitly. Thank you all for the words of welcome. I appreciate the kindness and the palpable sense of community. I wish the best to all of you.
Welcome REDBACK I remaember the candy cigs, and in our day they were called Fags, then they changed the name to Fads which I could never understand why :/
