Another person fallen victim to the dreaded milk spot. Let's all spend $27 AU for something that is really worth $20 AU on resale. Sadly, newbies will continue suffer the pain of the crappy milk spot. Keep your $27 my friend and stick it in a jar, or buy bullion at close to spot and hope and pray it will at least keep pace with inflation. At the moment buying potential milk spotted coins is a mugs game.

And at what point are some in the industry going stop selling this crap ? There is plenty of bullion out there that is not susceptible to any impairment. Why not sell that ? Then you can look yourselves in the mirror each morning and be proud of the product you sell. More to life than just a quick cash grab. So many people are tired of hearing that it only a MILK SPOT. It's time mints clean their act up, or the distributors draw a line in the sand and don't buy this crap to sell.

Just saying it as it is. Sick and tired of those who tip toe and pussyfoot around this subject in case they offend anyone in the industry that sells bullion. Ego2spare, clearly your not happy with the product else you wouldn't have posted a topic on milk spots. Stop buying it, then find the right dealer and bullion your happy with and move on. Life is too short to put up with BS and industry excuses.... :p

I have to say, not all RCM silver coins will develop milky spot but it does a common issue on them.

So I guess a sealed bag might be help to keep them away from milky spot?

Now PM SII Dragon and rabbit are also effected by milky spot issue too. Damn, I paid high premium on them.

Is rcm that bad? From the sound of it it like every silver coin they make is riddled with milk spots.

Not every coin but most of them will very easy to develop micky spot. Something might be wrong over there.

It's really hard to see milky spot on PM SI silver coins but now I got many milky SII dragons & rabbits.
