I was daytrading today and focusing on CBA and some of it's options series. I had set up a trade with all the passwords on my screen so I could execute quickly if the price moved to where I wanted it. After a few minutes I needed to duck off to the bathroom and left my computer unattended for about 2 minutes. When I came back into my office I found my 1 year old sitting at my desk hitting the buttons on the keyboard. I didn't think anything of it and played with him for a few minutes before I took him out to Mum to look after. When I came back I realized he had executed the trade! And the price had reversed and gone the wrong way

Took the rest of the day to trade my way out of it - fortunately at a small profit.

That'll learn me!!

LOL, your kid is obviously ruled by his emotions - you should read him James Dines' book 'Mass Psychology' :)

Yeah that works - until I forget that I've done it and go to place my trade and my keyboards locked out. I know - whinge whinge whinge. :)

Better yet, train him how to read Bollinger Bands and he can watch the market while you go to the toilet :)
