Looks like the gulo gulo price is crashing. Last few auctions barely getting $1500.00/ coin.

The hype is starting to wear off. I think they will come down even more. Probably settle around the $1200 area. All depends on the demand. Some collectors may very well give up on the series because they couldn't get/afford the first coin so they have decided to pass. Only time will tell.

I agree i see prices settling in the $1200 area with the owl and hedgehog in the $500-$600 range. At one time i couldnt get a gulo gulo when i bid $2000.
Fortunately i finally got one for 999 euro shipped.

Where would i look if i wanted to find information about the next release in the series. What it will be or when it will come out. Like, where was it announced that the third coin was a hedgehog?

    Hi all,
of course it's insured. but as it's left (somewhere) at the porch/door. and probably got stolen. buyer has to go to police (as we wrote him by email).
with that we can then claim to UPS an dinsurance. but as it's delivered and stolen after a police report is very important. do that immediate please.
and, double check with local HUB if it's there and/or pickup address usually used it could be if it's put at a pickup address it's said to be delivered?

but note: there is NEVER any money loss!!!!
but we cann't do magic and see from overseas where this parcel is.

    we are also chasing ups.

    best

another note: in Canada is seems that UPS can release any package on the property of the receiver. and then there must be an info notice in the pobox where to get it. please check carefully around the house too could be put somewhere behind or something.
anyway: the UPS is tracing it too. and please go to police to we need that too. contact us by email please to handle it further. makes no sense to do online. the outcome we can post later here.

My hedgehog came from eurocollections and ups ended up delivering it to me as well. He handed me the box, but no signature required. Which means if I hadn't been there he would of just left it at the door.

    Very annoying.

Looks like sales on the Gulo Gulo and the Ural Owl are slumping on ebay at the moment. Another fellow stacker here has a ural owl for sale at $500. A pretty good price IMHO.

    Ha ha.
I'm not bidding in this auction. I'm just interested because i have a complete set myself.
Right now the flavour of the month for me are MCCs.
I doubt it will go for more than $2600

The bid for the set of 3 Mongolian Wildlife series silver coins ended at $2650. Not bad at all. :)

The first complete set I saw was a few months back and went for around $3100. Now that the hype from the hedgehog release has died down, the prices have decreased. I don't think they'll fall too much lower and actually might rebound a bit as new collectors discover the series. It will be interesting to see the prices when/if the next in the series release is announced.
