You can purchase the Owl on ebay. But today, The prices range for the owl is about $300.00- $350.00... The Wolverines are about $750.00 to over $1,000 today. Both gorgeous pieces.

Seems like these Mongolian coins appreciate in value quite significantly. Where are they most readily available from and do they have a schedule of releases or anything?

Well, The mintage for the owl and wolverine were both only 2,500 each ( as you know ).. I don't know when or if there will be another released. The swarovski elements in the eyes really made the piece. I've been in the business on and off for years, And these are the 2 most beautiful pieces I have seen in quite awhile.

The bad parts for the owl coin is that it didn't come with a box. Also the certifiate was not numbered.

I wouldn't call it a bad part because that's the way ALL were made.
The owls did come with a wooden box, But not everyone got the box when purchased. (myself included ), But, it takes nothing away from the value of these 2 masterpiece works of art.. The wolverine and the owl.

I've been in the numismatic business since the early 70/s, And by far the mongolian wolverines and owl are the most beautiful pieces with a low mintage of 2,500.... The antique silver and swarovski crystal elements are just gorgeous... Is it worth $2,499.00?, Well the coin(s) are worth what collectors are willing 2 pay 4 it...:)

Do you know who makes them and how people get their hands on them?
I'm ready to pounce if the mint responsible makes something else :)

Well, The Mongolian mint made these mongolian wolverines ( which were the 1st coins in the series ). The 2nd in the series is the Mongolian owl. I don't know if they will be coming out with a 3rd.

The prices on the wolverines and the owl... ( both the mongolian ) are going wild... Just about a few weeks ago the owls were going for around $200, now I see prices as high as $799.00, wow!!!!. The wolverines I've seen as high as $2,499.00 wow!!!!!!!!!!... That's awesome... 2,500 mintage each on both... They both would qualify as museum pieces to me....
