    I don't think many people would have heard or seen this particular Sovereign.
    It was only minted for one year in 2000 and there's no St George on the reverse.
    Jersey's first and only Gold Sovereign.
    Extremely rare with a mintage of 2000 for uncirculated coins and similar mintage for the proof.

    Just wondering if anyone has any additional information about this coin. There is no mint mark, so is it safe to assume that it was minted by the Royal Mint?

    Reverse depicts William seated on throne.
    Mintage about 2000 as stated
