i never thought of that .I live where theres lots of retirees maybe they take them to the bank thinking their only 50c most bank people wouldnt know what they are worth
When I was visiting Florida a few months ago I did a round of the banks looking for $2 bills. One branch told me they regularly had elderly customers deposit silver dollars, but there were none at the moment - "we had a bunch come in last week but they're gone now". Probably mostly Eisenhowers, but the teller was adamant they got silver dollars being deposited. She was telling me to look out for pre-64 quarters, so she knew about the metal content.
I was chatting to someone the other day. They mentioned after 1966 the banks were told to collect all the 1966 50cent coins that entered the banking system.
SCORE!!!! What a dipshit hahahahah. I'm gonna stalk the 7-11's..one just opened up down the road... went from a quix to a seven/eleven. .... gotta love putzes. Can't even read '50c'
