There is absolutely no need to worry Michael Bailey. Everyone agrees with you. The former State Labor Government agreed, the Labor minority Government agreed, and the current State Liberal Government agrees. Public servants agree.

Compel Will Hodgman to offer voluntary redundancies and you will open the floodgates.

The only reason this hasn't been tackled is the need to fund the superannuation of anyone who is sacked or made redundant.

Private companies who pay as the law requires don't have this problem.

Sacking enough public servants to make a difference and paying up the money "borrowed" from their super will cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

Paying the entire debt right now will run to 6-7 billion dollars.

If you have any idea at all as to how this can be funded please contact Will Hodgeman ASAP.
