Hi Stackers, Very new to the game myself, I have been lurking the forums here reading a lot of different topics and have found everyone to be of good spirits and full of good information. I hope to make my first fiat money to precious metal conversion sometime this coming week , exciting times for me! I live in Sydney and I am quite interested in creating my own little foundry set up at home to have a crack at some copper and aluminum ingots, all in good time. For myself I think the best way to go from what I have read and the price checking I have done would be silver bars. I am naturally attracted to them for some reason, I am not really keen on the idea of paying a premium for something in coin form (no offence to the collecters). I am slightly concerned about the worlds economic state and the direction the fractional reserve banking system is taking the $US and the rest of us along with it, ok maybe a little more than slightly concerned Hope to do some trading with some nice folk here in the future!
