That was the attacks in 2013. Initially used to justify US involvement in Syria that have since had doubts cast.

There has been another attack made very recently. Hopefully the UN can get in there and investigate it properly before the blame game escalates into more serious conflict. I really hope Trump is smart enough not to get baited into an intervention by the US intelligence agencies and western media who seem to have already decided it was Assad.

Who stood to gain the most from using the gas?

There is no benefit for Assad to do this when the US were accepting his leadership (rightly or wrongly) therefore one has to strongly suspect its a false flag to change Trump's mind re Syria policy. The question I have is why Trump does not see through this (he is so switched on by other things so to be so easily fooled by this seems suspicious) or maybe ... he wanted this?

The last gas attack disappeared from the papers immediately after the hand of the Saudi family was implicated. Who can forget the imminent war which....pffff......evaporated overnight.
We will probably never know the truth but the truth is that this war is a lie and all participants are liars.

Bashar Al-Assad trained in opthalmology in London. Opthalmology is one of the superspecialities of medicine, ultracompetitive. In London, likely especially so.

It makes no sense at all that this man gassed his own people, but all over the MSM, we see a new attempt to whip up an excuse to attack Syria. Most of us are now hopefully inured to the pernicious influence of our media overlords.

It is not that long ago that Cameron took his well paid place with a fistful of ventriloquisling dollars shoved right up his puppet cloaca. This is par for the course in the MSM.

It is no longer our fight.

I feel so bad for those that died in the cause. :( All for nowt.

As an exercise, type in the following terms into your browser

    Gas Syria

    You will see:
Cnn, nbc, nytimes, npr, fox, reuters, time, theguardian, bloomberg, wapo, cbs, msn

It doesn't need much to see it for what it is.

    At least here.

Try telling people who watch this schtick every day for comfort.

    Pretty blatant.

Clinton announced this was in her plans. Trump said no. Seems the deep state's found a work around for Trump but hope rests with his tweet.

The rebel forces are claiming government forces launched a gas attack.

The government forces are claiming they hit a rebel depot containing gas munitions.

This would be a fairly easy forensics investigation to make if the UN would get off its thumb and get in there to have a look. There will be either landed (scattered?) munitions in the vicinity or there would be centrally exploded munitions in a depot.

I find it hard to believe in this day and age that people can't figure this sh*t out and want to go off half cocked.

Maybe Trump is stalling with the Congress vote in the hope the truth will emerge in time? If he goes ahead with any kind of retaliation without due process then he is as bad (if not worse) than Killary would have been :(

Edit: Follow-up stories on Wall Street Journal and Reuters all refer to Tomahawk cruise missiles - no information on what was targeted, or how many targets were hit.

Edit: Reports of 50-60 missiles being committed, mostly striking Syrian government air bases in western Syria.
