Many thanks to Aurora Et Luna for organizing the upcoming Sydney Silverstackers Meet on the 28th August (Sunday)! http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-12354-monthly-weekend-meets-in-sydney-page-2.html I have been invited to speak from 12:30PM till 1:00PM on Panda Collecting which is an honor for this lowly Panda fan If there are any Pandas you would like me to hunt for, be sure to let me know via email or pm or in this thread, since I will be in China later this week. For those that are running low on fiat, not to worry, I will be accepting trade offers; so if you would like to trade some of your excess silver/gold rounds/pre-decimals/state-coins/misc-stuff/junk/etc feel free to make an offer. I am hoping on getting a little more stock of fractional gold pandas for those that are interested; but from what I hear, even 2011 gold pandas are getting harder to find since the recent jump in spot. Looking forward to meeting you all! Thanks, yennus
Can't wait!!!!! Wouldn't mind a 1oz Gold 2009 Panda if you can get it nearish spot + 5% ... or a 5oz 2009 Proof Panda Highly unlikely but thought I'd ask anyway haha.
yep sure am. Finally after waiting six weeks for a express delivery from the states I will have some graded Pandas and a few other odds and ends
Now that I have started on getting Pandas I have been getting a few other chinese coins. Damn it was cheaper just collecting ase ect and bars.
Less interesting collecting ASEs etc though So far I've avoided all the other Chinese coins, the price level is out of my league. Especially the proof Unicorns, the Dragon/Phoenix stuff and so on.
Shame I can't be there. Would love to see yennus trying to restrict himself to talking about pandas for 1/2 an hour. Worth the admission price. The question and answer segment would be worth travelling to hear. So who's gonna ask him where he sources his coins?
Panda/Silverstackers Meet Details: This Sunday. Panda talk starts at 12:30PM Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club 117 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde.
Bringing some Panda Books by Peter Anthony. <typing fast... only 3mins complimentary internet access left in Terrigal>
Yep, that's Panda Collector. I wish I could display a copy of his Pricepedia, it really is worthwhile subscribing to.
