    5 $ silver, 250 $ gold?

    That's sickening!

This was supposed to be a correction. I honestly don't think it will go lower than 800-900 $ in the worst case.
Gold is rising in a bunch of other currencies: EUR, RUB, JPY,... And the dollar can't hold itself this strong for longer.

In 2016, the USA will most CERTAINLY increase interest rates. They might start QE again and then gold will shoot up.

Nothing happens in isolation. If gold and silver reach those prices what will the prices of other items be? When the selling cost of manufactured items is lower than the cost to make them what will the world look like? It certainly won't be a world just like this except that gold and silver are nearly worthless....

I could book him to come and speak to me while I lie in a Jacuzzi for the right money. I have better things to do.

Why does he need to do that if he has super duper economic models that let him see the future?

    No thanks.

He needs radical doom predictions for PR just like the rest of his ilk.

Dent's advice is, in my view, a perfect path to dying in poverty.

I agree julie .. For all those wanting financial advice go & talk to the local millionare/well off businessman in your community .Never listen to these internet spruikers.

I think the internet is full of frauds making a quick buck & full of bad advice .Seriously if you want to learn ask someone thats made their fortune by working not dribbling :)
