    ... but got sick of earthquakes so skillfully (& luckily!) managed to sell up b4 last Feb's biggie - at even-stevens... quite remarkable really.

    I'm a pro-Anonymous anti-JP Morgue & Rothschild puppy with a large shiny axe to grind on crooksters' heads... and happy to expose the gory detail to those who seek enlightenment on the NWO Cabal's nefarious & highly criminal activities & history over the centuries...

    Thank you Peeps for such a warm welcome - and YES, hiho - We Mancs gave the World everything they know... the internal combustion engine, the spinning jenny, splitting the atom, the computer, canals, holidays in Blackpool, holidays in Costa Blanca... Oasis (I used to work with Noel)... Elbow... steam... and, erm, including all those freebies to the Chinese & colonies... but HEY - I love Chinese food... I DO hope I haven't spoken out of turn... (!) Let's Get It Onnnnnnnnnn...... ;)x

    Another ex Mancunian here....now all we need is Pikey and we can have a Madchester party!!! :D

    I would also add to your list of things that Manchester is famous for: Steak & Kidney puds (a.k.a rag puddings), The Happy Mondays (My mum used to babysit Sean and Paul Ryder coz she worked with their mum!), The Arndale Centre, Coronation Street, match stalk men and match stalk cats and dogs (i.e. L.S. Lowry), Black peas, Rainy days, Man U and not forgetting my nerdy pin-up Prof. Brian Cox (ex keyboard player with D:ream of "Things can only get better" fame).

    Plus, probably the folk with the best sense of humour in all the world! ;)

    Oh! And I love your avatar. Crocodile Dundee meets V for Vendetta...methinks there's a subliminal message going on there.

    Welcome, I sense you will be a lively addition to these 'ere forums. :)

    Och RD...give the boy a break...Leigh is in Greater Manchester isn't it? :p I always get a bit mixed up though, being as I virtually lived on top of the boundary line of Wigan and Salford. :)

    I would add to the musical list: Joy Division, New Order, Stone Roses, 808 State and Chemical Brothers. I like my house/electro/trance in case you didn't notice. :D
