    Proudly advertises that they ship with fedex. If anything that's an immediate disincentive.

    Well, i'd rather know upfront than have them not mention it. Wasn't trying to devalue a site sponsor, was just making an observation, the whole gst hassle would be specific to the australian market anyway.

    Actually I read somewhere dunno here or kitco, the europeans also get the fedex tax hassle.

    So it is not unique to Australia, fedex truly wants to piss off the world.

    Saw the same thing when it went up about using fedex,
    Did not look any further, fedex policies on gst bars me using this service,would rather risk buying pandas off eBay.

    Apparently they also ship with UPS - don't know UPS's track record. Anyone? You could probably specify UPS shipping.

    No problems w/ UPS as far as I know.

    Usually just ring you up, you quote credit card and they charge the customs fee off it (~$60).
