What does everyone use for storing their stacks? When I started I already had my gun safe, so am utilising some space in that.

I now store mine at a bank deposit box........... I can sleep a bit easier.

I dont think Australians have much to worry about in that regard.

From what I understand, a surprisingly large number of people on the forum store their PMs at the bottom of a large body of water.

My GPS tells me where my stack is.

Just need SCUBA gear to get at it.

The other half just needs the treasure map at the trustees to find it.

The other half just needs James Bond & Tom Cruise to get together with Mission impossible & Bruce Willis to plan a mission.

The other half just needs Mel Gibson & Charlie Sheehan to get sober & hook up with Lindsay Lohan & Brittany Speers & Lady GAGA to dig up Hollywood.

The other half just needs Ben Bernake to jump out of his helicopter with JPM.

The other half just needs my wife & a blowtorch.

The other half just needs you to tickle me with a feather.

    Cheap and easy solution -

Just pop them in a steel tool box, hard wired to mains power!

I'm not familiar with Australian firearm laws, but here you are able to defend yourself and your property with a firearm, it is our constitutional right. I didn't say you needed to be careless about it....

Private storage facility in town. Would like to get a floor safe in new house, but the boss is anxious about keeping do much precious in our house. Might have to have it built in whilst she's away...

This really is the most cost effective solution. Off site storage makes sense on many levels, especially price. When you look at the price of safes that you need to compare to the level of security its easily a decade or more of off site storage fees.

A no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

anybody recommend a place in canberra?
all bank deposit boxes have a 2 year wait here.
NAB have some avail, where you supply the box and they put it into the vault. they also make you sign a form saying they are not responsible if it goes missing...wtf is that normal? lol

I would be interested in any recommendations for off site storage in Perth - banks etc?

Don't like the idea of banks not taking responsibility if your box goes missing, and read somewhere (??) that some want to know what is inside the box or don't let you actually handle it all yourself.

Can't find any reference to private vaults in WA on-line.

    Thanks if anyone can help.

Mine sits in a large lock n lock container on my desk.

Even getting INTO our security unit would be something to behold I think.

Unless you're spiderman, you wouldn't bother.

Even then, we don't look like we own jack.

Our unit is the equivalent of parking your old datto 120Y next to the M class BMW in a shopping center carpark.

    You get the idea.

WTF !!, there is no way I would be handing over my PM's to the Bank for "Safe Keeping", and especially not if you have to sign a form basically giving them permission to steal it from you anyway.

Put your PM's in a plastic water proof container and bury them in the ground.
